We celebrated our founder, Patti McKinnell on March 25th, a day full of stories and memories about the origin of The Logan School.
She spent time with every class for Q&A, welcomed families into the Logan Collections to share favorite pieces (some pictured here), and reconnected with former faculty and staff who returned to celebrate.
A student asked, if it was hard to start the school?” “It takes work and a lot of caring,” Patti shared. “But once you get going, it’s fun. A lot of things are hard and fun at the same time.”
That spirit still defines us.
From “Ollie, Ollie!" to learning that reaches far beyond our walls, this school was built so gifted students can learn alongside others who share their curiosity.
But what stayed with us most were the voices of students:
