Winter Sports: Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball.
Spring Sports: Girls' Soccer and Co-Ed Ultimate Frisbee. Current calendar here.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT SPORTS:

  • Students in Upper IS & AS are eligible to play.
  • There is a $150.00 fee per student for each sport in which they participate.
  • Students have through the first week of practices to decide if they want to play. After the first week, sports fees are non-refundable.
  • You can access the game schedules (once they are published) on the All-School Google Calendar.
  • Before your child can participate in any sport, you will need to have a signed parent consent form and physician's release form on file in order to start the first practice. Your child will not be allowed to begin practice unless they are registered and their signed consent forms have been received.

LEEP

The Learning through Expanded Enrichment Program (LEEP) is a before and after school program for Logan students of all ages. There are a variety of classes offered on each day of the week, quarterly.

LEEP classes follow the Matrix quarter calendar. Look for sign-ups in the weekly newsletter, The Logan Link, before each quarter.

  • 1st Quarter: August - October
  • 2nd Quarter: November - January
  • 3rd Quarter: January - March
  • 4th Quarter: April - May
Important Leep info
  • Students can participate in multiple LEEP courses.
  • Parents are billed for each LEEP course at the beginning of the quarter. Once a child is registered, there are no refunds.
  • For afternoon classes, students meet at Extended Care/Lunchroom Lobby at 3:30 PM and wait to be picked up by the LEEP instructor.
  • Courses may require specific clothing or gear to be provided by the parent. Instructors will communicate this if it applies to the course.
  • LEEP courses typically end at 4:30 PM, though some may go as late as 5:30 PM. Please make sure to look at the schedule for exact times and days.
  • 10 minutes after LEEP courses end, students will be auto-enrolled into Extended Care at the rate of $12/hr.
  • Please register online before the first day of class for that quarter. Please do not send your child to class without registering ahead of time.
  • Children are expected to bring their own pre-LEEP snack to eat during Loop.
  • Students are welcome to bring their own snack if they need one, one will not be provided.

Extended Care

Logan's extended care is a drop-in child care service for Logan students both before and after school. EC is open from 7:00 - 8:20 a.m. and 3:30 - 6:00 p.m.

EC is a play-based program where students of all ages have access to a large outdoor space, sports equipment, puzzles and games, Legos and blocks, toys, art supplies, and more. There are spaces available for students to read or get a start on homework. Each Friday, we show a movie and have pop popcorn for those who are interested.

Electronics Policy
In general, EC is an electronics-free space. This time is for students to play or create together and build relationships. However, AS students may check their phones during the first 10 minutes of afternoon EC. Students may also use electronic devices for reading, doing homework, and (at the discretion of the EC teachers) work on collaborative projects.

EC fees are charged in increments.

The morning EC fee is $12 from 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM. After 8:00 AM, there is no charge for morning EC.

Afternoon EC starts at 3:30 PM and ends at 6:00 PM. Afternoon EC is 12/hr, billed in 15-minute increments. Using any part of an increment will be billed at $4. If pick-up occurs after 6:00 PM, there is a $1/minute charge that will be added to your monthly statement. If you are running late, please call, 303-340-2444, x.139, if you are able to.

EC provides an afternoon snack for children, and students are welcome to bring their own, nut-free snacks.

Contact Information
If you need to reach someone in EC after school office hours (4 PM), please call 303-340-2444, x. 139. Please use this number during EC hours to get a message to your child or the EC staff.
