Rooted in Logan’s strengths and guided by our mission, our Strategic Plan looks boldly to the future. It reflects our shared commitment to growth, innovation, and lasting impact in gifted education.

These five priorities outline our commitment to identifying and supporting the learners we serve, elevating and sustaining our programs, and growing Logan’s reach and impact. Together, they guide our work to ensure that Logan continues to thrive as a leader in gifted education.

At Logan, we are shaping the future of gifted education. As we reflect on where we’ve been, we are also thinking deeply about where we’re going. With great excitement, we are pleased to share the culmination of a year of collaboration, thoughtful reflection, and bold vision: The Logan School Strategic Plan 2025-2030.
This plan is the product of an inclusive process that has brought together families, staff, community stakeholders, alumni, and board members, with each voice contributing to the conversation. Through family think tanks, staff work sessions, strategic design team meetings, and our community design day, we asked ourselves some of the most important questions for our future:
Thanks to the collective wisdom and effort of our Strategic Planning Design Team, our dedicated consultants at Leadership + Design, and the entire Logan community, we now have an inspiring plan! This strategic plan will serve as our compass, guiding us as we continue to bolster our staff and provide resources to advance Logan’s expertise in gifted education.
This plan is not just a document; it is a commitment to the future of Logan and to the generations of students who will continue to benefit from the unique, personalized education we offer. But as with any bold vision, the work is just beginning.
We are excited to embark on this next chapter in Logan’s story, and we know that, together, we will continue to achieve extraordinary things. To ensure steady progress, the administration will create annual operational implementation plans aligned with the strategic priorities, with the Board serving as both a champion and support mechanism for this important work. These priorities will be addressed in phases over the next five years, and we look forward to sharing our progress with you.
With gratitude and excitement for the future,
Nicole Girvan, Head of School
Maureen Watson, Chair, Strategic Design Team, Board Secretary
