What is The Logan Fund?
As with all independent schools, tuition is a major source of revenue for Logan, but it does not fully cover the cost of a Logan education. Each year, through The Logan Fund, our community comes together to “bridge the gap” between tuition and total cost, fueling the creative learning that takes place at Logan every day. This year, the difference is $2,800 per student. This model keeps tuition as low as possible, while also providing the needed resources to fully fund the teaching, learning, exploration, and operations at Logan.
I read that you are changing the name from The Annual Fund. Why?
The Annual Fund is now The Logan Fund! The reason for the name change is to more closely connect the name to the reason for this work. The Annual Fund answers the question of WHEN we give, The Logan Fund is about WHY we give - to help support and make possible all of the magic that is The Logan School.
What is Logan Gives Day?
This year our outreach and fundraising efforts will be timed to lead up to Logan Gives Day on November 13, rather than Colorado Gives Day in December, as has been the case in recent Logan history. This change is for two primary reasons:
Will I still be asked annually to support The Logan Fund?
Yes! The Logan Fund Committee will work annually to encourage our entire community to come together in support of our school operations. Each year there is an outright fundraising goal and a participation goal. This year’s goals are:
If possible, families are encouraged to consider a “gap level” gift of $2,800 or more per student - this amount represents the difference between the cost of tuition and the cost of educating each student. The Logan Fund Committee will reach out this fall to connect with all Logan families and ask for your participation in The Logan Fund, just like we have done with The Annual Fund in previous years.
I actually know my Colorado Gives login, can I still give through that 365 platform?
Yes! You can.
Thank you for helping our community stay strong, curious, and growing!
