Hi Logan Community!
I am so excited to be returning to Logan this year! As some of you may know, I was the Learning Specialist at Logan from 2014 - 2017. I spent the last three years in New York, where I grew up, and quickly realized that I missed the beauty and sunshine of Colorado—and of course the Logan community! I am eager to reintroduce myself to the students and families I've worked with in the past, and excited to get to know those of you I haven't met yet.
For those of you who don't know me, I'd like to share some of my background. graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan, and am an avid UM football fan. I went on to receive my M.A. in Education with a concentration in General Education and Special Education at NYU Steinhardt. For many years, I worked as a classroom teacher in a special education setting. As you know, I was the Learning Specialist at Logan from 2014 - 2017, and over the past three years I have served as a private Learning Specialist and Educational Consultant to families.
Since you can't stop by my office this year, feel free to send me an email at any time to just to say hi, to let me know about your child, a favorite hiking trail, to discuss how difficult it is to find good pizza or bagels outside of NY, or to discuss Michigan Football.
I'm looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones as we collaborate to ensure the success of our Logan students!
