Office of Admission Administrative Assistant 

Position Overview
The Admission Office Assistant works directly with and supports the Enrollment Management Director.
We are looking for this person to begin as soon as possible.

Status

  • This is a full-time, 12-month salaried, over-time eligible position

 

Hours

  • The Logan School work day is 8:00-4:00 p.m.

  • Until 5:00 p.m. when attending required all-staff meetings (required)

  • There will be occasional evening and weekend commitments

 

Essential Functions

 

  • Think generatively and reflect on processes relating to admission practices and the school overall

  • Draft communication for others’ signatures

  • Take dictation from a group and edit and proofread documents

  • Maintain admission calendar

  • Schedule and organize events such as: Parent Information Sessions, tour guides and visits for prospective students, Alumni Induction Event, Alumni Forum, and other events as required

  • Give tours to prospective parents

  • Create and maintain permanent student files, financial aid files and admission inventory

  • Maintain, track and respond to requests for student records, transcripts, recommendations

  • Update all written and electronic literature as necessary

  • Assist Enrollment Management Director with training student tour guides

  • Support the processes of re-enrollment, financial aid and high school transition processes

  • Track all applications and contracts and follow-up with parents

  • Manage and synthesize data, while maintaining database with student enrollment status, family information, etc.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Organized and able to multi-task

  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel and the Google Suite

  • Typing proficiency

  • Reliable transportation

  • Ability to work independently and in a group

 

Compensation

Salary range is $30,000-$35,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits offered include employer-paid health insurance, paid time off, TIAA-CREF retirement plan with matching contributions and a flexible benefits program.
